What is the Youth Leadership program?
The Youth Leadership program is a dynamic program that is an intersection of youth, empowerment, innovation and community development. It is a solid investment in youth potential that fosters inclusion and growth. For 8 weeks in the summer, youth actively volunteer in their community and participate of social justice causes and charitable initiatives in the city. Throughout the summer, youth can participate of recreational and fitness activities as well as engage in self-improvement workshops, meditation and self-care.
Where:
The program takes place in Toronto, based out of West Neighbourhood House’s location at 248 Ossington Ave.
When:
This is an 8-week, full-day program that takes place during the summer break.
Note: Due to COVID-19, the program will not be operating in 2021.
